In this mechanised world, we are stressed out more or less and at a point, we need to relax. I usually meditate when I feel too much stress on the regular days.
When the stress becomes intolerable for me during my work or in any other situations, I usually meditate to remove the stress from my body and mind. It is really helpful for me to rid of the stress within a few minutes. It is also beneficial for the development of mental faculty as I have enough chances to think about different matters in a calm and quiet environment and the solutions I get are amazing. Meditation is not a long-term process and thus I perform it different times of the day. Usually, I perform it after waking up and at times I do it in the short breaks at the office.
Meditation is an effective tool for relaxations. All my limbs and body parts become relaxed when I am in a deep level (as I am practising for long, I could reach the deep level within a few seconds) and after waking up from the meditation, I feel a sense of deep freshness around my body and mind. The meditation process is very simple and requires no extra initiatives to perform. I just sit on my chair in the office and place my hands in cross over my chest. Then I take deep breathes for two to three minutes. It helps to make the body fresh and also beneficial for the respiratory organs insides. Next, I imagine any beautiful place I am with my favourite personalities. I try to look every inch of the place and most of the time I go to lonely islands (through my imagination). After passing five to ten minutes, I wake up and feel relaxed. It is greatly beneficial to me.
Since I love travelling, in my meditation I travel from place to places and accordingly try to imagine the real-life situations and scenarios on the places. Sometimes I reconnect with the past memories of my travels in different distant parts of the country. But I like islands with sea beach most because a sense of tranquillity is felt in the places and I felt several times in my real life. So, I try to remember the travels and imagine that I am there with someone I like. Sometimes I pay lonely visits to these places when I am frustrated or stressed out too much.
Meditation has long been being practised to be relaxed. It is the easiest way to be relaxed and for that, you do not need any extra preparations, instruments or any specific locations. You can simply perform meditation by sitting or lying on floor or bed. But meditation on sitting position is comfortable. I like it for some other reasons too. Meditation is beneficial to control your negative emotions like anger, frustrations or resentment. It opens the door of tranquillity where all your negative emotions will be removed smoothly. Regular practising meditation will also make you look younger than your actual age and at the same time will keep you fit.

Watching movie is my favourite way to relax. Actually, I do not have much time to spend on my leisure activities here in Malaysia. I am a full-time student and a part-time employee of a local coffee shop. So, I need to remain busy always for the nature of my activities and hardly can manage time except for sleeping and study. Therefore, I watch various types of movies in the leisure hour and enjoy them to the last minute.
This is an effective method for me. Actually, when I am at university, I need to focus on the studies, and when I am at the workplace, I need to concentrate on the customers and other activities. So, it is quite natural that I get stressed at the end of the day. I need to work hard at the coffee shop to serve the customers. Luckily, my duty begins in the afternoon and continues until 10.00pm. On the other side, my class begins at 8.00am and breaks around noon. So, I cannot manage enough time for relaxation on the regular days. When I watch movies, it makes me feel relaxed. It removes all the tensions for me. In fact, I am energised with the movies. I laugh, I cry and overall, I get entertained. The next day, I am recharged with inspirations to move on. By this way, it becomes effective for me.
Usually, I watch the movies on Friday evening. I have no class during this day. And thus I try to perform my coffee shop duty in the morning part. As a result, I get the remaining part of the day and there are no tasks for me. I am free of responsibilities and get my long desired leisure hours in the week. So, I go to my dormitory, open up my laptop and watch movies. Sometimes I try to get back home early from my workstation and the shop owner allows me considering my week-long engagement. I am grateful to him for his such flexibility. After returning home, I start downloading movies for the next week and start watching that I downloaded in the past. Sometimes I watch two or three movies in a day and it depends on the movie run-time. When the movies are shorter in run-time, I can watch three of them and when they are lengthy, I try to watch at least two movies at a time.
The way of relaxation actually depends on people and also may vary in person. This is my own way and is different from others. Some may not feel comfortable with this type of relaxation method. But I feel complete satisfaction when I watch movies. Watching movies help me to increase the concentration level that I apply to my real-life issues.
