Model Answer 1:
Painting is my hobby and I love to paint different things especially the landscapes, blue skies, the views of the city etc. I wish someday I will arrange for a painting exhibition in Paris, my beloved land.

I am a painter, not by profession rather it is my passion to paint. I paint out my imagination. I love it, much. It is also beneficial for me from several aspects and makes me free of mental worries. It is like a healing process to me when I am concerned. It is the way to communicate with my inner self. The painting expresses what I feel or imagine inside. In fact, I developed the habit when I was in troubles related to my profession and got mentally upset. A friend of mine suggested me to exercise my hobby and I started painting as it was my childhood hobby. Then gradually I started feeling comfort and a sense of relief from the agonies. Painting helps me to express my capabilities and reduces my nervousness and emotional imbalance.

There are no specific places for me to paint but my residence is the best place for my painting. The house I live in is a bit distant from the city crowd and located beside the Seine River. So, the river view is clear from my window and being a commercial gateway, the River is always found busy. So, I have placed a painting board on the balcony to get an outstanding river view from there. Besides, I have another portico on the south of my bedroom which allows me to have a beautiful view of the Paris city. Thereby, it is not a problem for me to get painting views. Again, sometimes I take the board inside my bedroom and paint after my imagination when I do not want to draw any external view.

There are no specific time limitations for me to paint. I usually paint whenever I want it. It has happened that I have started painting at 3.00am and finished it by 5.00am. The painting actually depends on my mood. I have spent hours with the brush on my one hand and the colour plate on the other hand and pondered what to paint. But if I seriously count the hours, it would be around 20 – 25 hours on average in a week. I want to spend more time with painting but cannot manage the required hours for my professional engagement. In the weekday, I spent the entire day in painting. I usually do not complete a painting in a day rather take at least a week to complete the entire painting. Sometimes I make a draft sketch on a paper and then get the idea to paint the entire image.

Paris is the city bustling with life. This is a historical city. Crowds are everywhere and visitors around the globe come to visit the city for its splendid beauty and especially to observe the Eiffel Tower. So, there are fewer spaces in the city to paint and even at night times, there are lots of crowds prevail on the streets. Earlier, I have tried to paint outside of the home but the attempts turned failure. Crowds gather to see what I was drawing which was highly irritating for me and I could not concentrate on the work. So, I gave up the idea to paint outside of the home. Besides, when I am at home, I have the chance to think deeply about the theme which is not possible in outside. When I open the window, I have great views ahead of me to draw on the paper. At the home, I draw lines after my will and sometimes link the lines with the outer elements to make something special on the paper.

Model Answer 2:
Cooking is my hobby. I like to cook various types of foods and serve them to my family members. Thank you for the smart question. I am happy to let you know about my experience with cooking. Thank you once again for selecting this particular matter.

As a housewife, I need to take care of my kids and family here in Pakistan. But sometimes, I do the things in a different manner. I love to cook foods. I need to prepare foods for my family but sometimes, I do something additional for them. When they are supposed to get the regular meal, they get something special which makes them feel surprised. Cooking multiple types of foods is now a habit for me and I try to cook the special dishes on the weekends.

Cooking is mostly done in the kitchen. But when there are any occasions or guests arrive at my home, I cook in the garden in front of my house. In that case, a large arrangement is done. I do not have cooking pots for large-scale cooking. I hire them from the local caterer for a day and continue my cooking. In fact, cooking in the garden is different than cooking in the kitchen. I need to arrange for fuels and install a temporary oven in the garden. Besides, there are huge smokes around. But there are no such issues in the kitchen. I use the gas-run stove to cook foods and other food ingredients.

Actually, I have never counted the hours I spend on cooking in a week. But on an average, I need to spend around four hours in a week. Hence, there are 28 hours in a week I need to spend in the kitchen. But I am happy that my family loves my cooking. My husband does not like to take foods out of the home. When he moves to his office, he takes his meals with him. Even my boy is also like his father. Both of them are unable to take foods from outside when they are at office or school. It gives me an immense pleasure when someone takes the meal that I prepare and praises the cooking. I feel lucky and forget about the sufferings that I had to endure during the cooking preparation and process.

I like to cook at home for some particular reasons. First of all, this is my hobby since an early age. I developed a special skill of cooking from my mother and accordingly, I started cooking for my family from my teenage. Gradually, it became a hobby for me. Now I need to do it home every day and taking a break from cooking makes me feel bored and displeased.
