Model Answer 1:
We should absolutely thank Tim Berners-Lee, a British scientist at CERN, for inventing the World Wide Web (WWW) in 1989. But, we should also be equally thankful to the websites like “youtube.com” which have made the efforts of people like Tim Berners-Lee even more revolutionizing and remarkable. But, here, I would like to talk about youtube.com, saving Mr Tim Berners for another time.

Talking about youtube.com, it is one of the most popular video search engines in today’s world which attract more than 2 billion users every month. In fact, youtube.com became the second-most popular website in 2018 with more than 500 hours of video content which are being uploaded to it every minute. Since starting its journey as a “video-sharing platform” in the year 2005, it has allowed us to view a countless number of videos, containing information on pretty much all kinds of subjects, issues and interests, which a human could possibly think about and imagine in today’s world.

As for me, I have been using this website for the last 8 years in order to learn an array of things, from a particular food recipe to practising a foreign language to learning “karate”, by watching some amazing videos on it. In fact, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that a person can practically learn about anything and become an expert just by watching videos on youtube.com. This great website also offers “live streaming” facilities to its users.

I have benefitted a lot from this amazing website by learning a number of skills from its videos. In fact, if this particular website didn’t exist, I wouldn’t be able to improve on my computer coding skills and become a better computer programming professional. Besides, without this particular website and some of its educational videos, my communication skills still would have remained below standard. However, one of the best advantages of using this video sharing platform is that I can actually keep in touch with many other like-minded professionals from the same profession and ask for their feedback on many career-related issues.

Sample Answer 2:
I am a mobile technician based in Hong Kong and I often need to repair mobile phones for my clients. At times, I need to check the IMEI of their devices. Without knowing the right IMEI, it is not always possible to make the right decisions to fix those devices. So, I frequently need to visit the www.imei.info website.

I need to use this website almost every day, seven to eight times at least, but there are no certain counts. When my clients come with locked-in phones, I need to visit the site to know the details of the device. I have to keep the site open on my computer for a long time sometimes due to the rush of the clients.

This is a website that provides mobile phone related information. By visiting the website, anyone can know about the IMEI details of any mobile phone. Besides, some additional information is provided by this website which is handy at times. The site users can learn if the phone set is stolen, blacklisted or comes with a country lock. You can fix software problems using the site and within a short period of time. But you need to pay to get some premium service.

Well, if there were no such websites, it would have been tougher for me as a professional. Many clients come with allegations that their phones are locked. In that case, I need to use this website to unlock the phones. If this website or any other similar website did not exist, it would have been tougher for me to work as a mobile technician.

The IELTS test is a prerequisite where English is the language of communication. IELTS is very helpful to study or work in other countries. I also clear with 7.5 bad overall in IELTS exam. I recommend to you that if you want to take IELTS tuitions in Singapore visit https://smiletutor.sg/ielts-private-tuition
